
Celebrity Jabber is a distinguished entertainment content creation enterprise, specializing in the aggregation of celebrity news, photographs, and videos. The company is renowned for its coverage of Entertainment News (E! News) events and conducting high-profile interviews with an array of A-list celebrities, including notable figures like Paris Hilton, Kendra Wilkinson, Flo Rida, Fifth Harmony, among others.
In order to successfully launch the company and secure exclusive content, we strategically forged partnerships with public relations firms. This collaboration was pivotal in gaining access to red carpet events and securing invitations to elite gatherings as a member of the press. These opportunities enabled me to conduct live interviews with celebrities and capture photographs on the red carpet, thereby enhancing our content offerings and brand visibility.
We developed a bespoke application that seamlessly integrates various news feed and image APIs. Additionally, we crafted a custom Content Management System (CMS), akin to WordPress, to provide an intuitive and familiar interface for our content creators to compose and publish their stories. The application was meticulously designed to ensure a fluid and consistent user experience across both mobile and desktop platforms. Integration capabilities were a key focus; we successfully incorporated our website’s article and video posts, photo galleries, and celebrity tweets into the app. Furthermore, we implemented an advanced push notification system to promptly alert users about the release of new content, including stories and celebrity interviews.
Over a span of 24 months, our brand development and marketing initiatives drove remarkable growth for Celebrity Jabber. The company’s website ascended from a ranking of 7.8 million to become the 56,000th most visited website globally, according to Alexa Rankings. Our Facebook page experienced substantial growth, amassing over 6,500 likes. Additionally, the mobile app achieved significant traction with over 50,000 downloads. The core strength of the company remained its celebrity interviews, which collectively garnered over 2 million views. In 2014, Celebrity Jabber was acquired by an undisclosed buyer who integrated our content into their existing platform and subsequently decommissioned the site.
